Eligibility
- Candidate should be HAAD qualified and currently in UAE
- Qualification and Experience Requirements
BSc Nursing is must
For Medical Surgical Nurse – 3 years experience, for Flight Nurse – Minimum 5 years experience and For PALS – NRP Instructor – 5 years experience in training for PALS NRP
For Medical Surgical Nurse – 3 years experience, for Flight Nurse – Minimum 5 years experience and For PALS – NRP Instructor – 5 years experience in training for PALS NRP
Responsibilities for Flight Nurse
- Perform a pre-flight patient assessment as per UniTeam procedures.
- Be a flight nurse responsible to escort patients abroad for medical treatment or repatriation as per UniTeam procedures.
- Providing patients with proper medical care and treatment until the patient safely reaches the hospital or a formal clinical handover is conducted with destination country medical or ambulance crew as per arrangements.
- Maintaining the patients’ overall safety while in flight.
- Acts as a point of contact between the flight crew and patient/patient’s family.
- Coordinate travel arrangements, airfare and hotel arrangements when needed.
- Attend a IPES post flight debrief with other team members as required.
- Other duties as required by the TED Department.
- The Flight Nurse must comply with the Company’s policies and procedures and Code of Conduct at all times.
