As per the latest updates the nurses working in Malta can now register for NMC without writing the language tests i.e. NMC eases the language requirements for Malta nurses.
The three acceptable language criteria put forward by NMC are:
IELTS : 6.5 for Writing and 7 for the rest of the modules
OET : C+ for Writing and B for the rest of the modules
Registered Nurse with 1-year experience from any of the English speaking countries.
The list of English speaking countries is updated every two years by NMC. In the latest list, Malta has been added to the list.
