The National Rural Health Mission (NRHM), now under National Health Mission is an initiative undertaken by the government of India to address the health needs of under-served rural areas. Launched on 12 April 2005 by then Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, the NRHM was initially tasked with addressing the health needs of 18 states that had been identified as having weak public health indicators. The Union Cabinet headed by Manmohan Singh vide its decision dated 1 May 2013, has approved the launch of National Urban Health Mission (NUHM) as a Sub-mission of an overarching National Health Mission (NHM), with National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) being the other Sub-mission of National Health Mission. National Health Mission (NHM) advertised a recruitment notification for the post of Staff Nurse. NHM has about 3 vacant positions to fulfill in Panchkula. Qualification:
- Essential: B.Sc Nursing (Regular) with experience of at least 1 year in Critical Care services in a recognized institution after BSc
Note: Post gaduation (M.Sc ) in nurse practitioner course in critical care will be given additional weightage.
Age Limit:
- Applicant's age should be 58 years as of the closing date of applications.
- Age relaxation applicable for reserved candidates as per rules.

Applications are invited from the eligible candidates in hard copy along with application form to be submitted in the office of Civil Surgeon, A-Block, 5th Floor, premises of Civil Hospital, Sector-6, Panchkula for the post of ICU Staff Nurse under ICU in Civil Hospital, Panchkula.
